On Saturday, WSU lost it’s 31st game since 2012. It followed a familiar script to many of the previous 30. A series of losses so frustrating, a Twitter poll allowing a mere four options is entirely insufficient in choosing which was worst.

So many write-ins for the "favorite loss of the 30 Mike Leach losses" poll. Everyone is just so motivated to vote.

Those 31 losses have come to 19 different teams now that Boise State has been added to the list. Which brings us to the trivia for the week.
Q1: Excluding WSU, there are eight other FBS or FCS football teams in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Name the only two WSU hasn’t lost to in the Mike Leach era.
Q2: Tavares Martin Jr. caught 12 passes for 158 yards against Boise State. Since 2000, only one other WSU receiver posted a game with at least 10 catches for 150 or more yards. Who was it?

The Cougars, by the way, retain their spot on these projections. A nine-win 2015 season earns some benefit of the doubt in early 2016, but they need to start winning, pronto.

Can Washington State recover? The Cougars are the best 0-2 team in the country, but they are still 0-2. They showed a lot of heart by rallying against Boise State, but couldn’t pull off the win. Can they regroup and have another outstanding in-conference run?
