Will they or won’t they? No, this isn’t a standoff at the 5th grade dance waiting for the boys to ask the girls to cut a rug (do I know the youth or what), it’s something else entirely.

Will the Cougs exceed lofty expectations set before them by voters of the AP Top 25 and others ... or will they fall short and, in a surprising turn given where this team was just a few years ago, disappoint fans with a middling bowl appearance?
