For the first time in nearly a decade, WSU’s men’s basketball team is 1-0 in Pac-12 play. Season openers haven’t been kind to the Cougars in recent season, but they had no such issues on Sunday, knocking off Washington 79-74 in Seattle.
The victory was WSU’s first conference win in nearly a year as the Cougars finished last season on a lengthy losing streak. A win to start conference play and a win against the Huskies.
