Tis the season as National Signing day draws near. Every year we see coveted recruits call press conferences to make their choice of college. On Monday WSU will part of one these events, as Texas 3-star high school wide receiver Reggie Roberson will making his college selection.

He will be making the choice from his Mesquite Horn high school field house and it will be aired by the local fox affiliate at 6 pm eastern time. Roberson will be choosing between WSU and 3 other power 5 schools. Utah, West Virginia and Illinois are also under consideration. 247sports.com is projecting him to pick the Illini, probably because they been recruiting him the longest. Playing in the Air Raid has be tempting for a pass-catcher of his caliber though. All of his favorites have made in-home visits recently, so he is clearly a coveted prospect.

Roberson took an official visit earlier this month after new receivers coach Derek Sage reached out to him. WSU’s receiver recruiting hasn’t exactly been stellar this cycle, so Roberson would be a really big get for the Air Raid. With him and fellow 4 stars Jamire Calvin and Braylon Sanders making their decisions shortly things could be looking a whole lot different on signing day. So keep your fingers crossed Cougar fans. We could be seeing one of the best wideouts in Texas commit to WSU on Monday.
