Good afternoon. It has been 45 days and 45 nights, give or take, since we last saw Cougar Football. As we’re all aware, the sooner the team can get back on the field and help us forget what we saw in San Diego, the better. Turns out we’re over the half way point between the end of the bowl game and the beginning of spring practice.
The Cougs announced Friday that spring workouts will commence on Thursday, March 23. As has always been the case, WSU will practice on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Spring Game will take place in Spokane on Saturday, April 22, and WSU will hold one additional practice in Pullman on the following Tuesday.

This spring will be our first chance to see how the young receivers are coming along, whether an old receiver might be ready to contribute, how the new guys on the offensive line are fitting in, and whether the defensive tackles can go further than two guys deep. /drink
Also, If you’ve always wondered whether we authors are actual people, a few of my fellow CougCenter authors have RSVP’d for the spring game again this year. I’m sure there will be a pre (and probably post)-game function, like last year. And who knows? Maybe there will even be some more free stuff to give away.
