At least one Cougar will get to take part in the Final Four weekend festivities as senior forward Josh Hawkinson has been invited to play in the Reese’s Division 1 College All-Star game. The game takes place on Reese’s Final Four Friday at the University of Phoenix Stadium. This game brings the best seniors in the country together to compete. Hawkinson is part of the west team that is coached by Colorado’s Tad Boyle. UCLA’s Bryce Alford is the only other Pac-12 player on the roster.

This concludes a fantastic senior year for Hawkinson as he became WSU’s all-time leading rebounder and also was named the Pac-12 scholar-athlete of the year. Hawkinson’s NBA draft future is uncertain at this point, but hopefully he will score an invite to the combine to show off his inside-outside game that he brings to the table at 6-foot-10. Right now he is ranked as the 63rd best senior prospect by draftexpress.com.

You can watch the Shoreline native compete against the country’s best at 3:35 pacific on Friday on the CBS Sports Network.
