USA Volleyball announced their 31 players for the U.S. Collegiate National Team-Minneapolis on Monday and Washington State outside hitter Casey Schoenlein was included. The team will train and compete in Minneapolis June 22-30.

The 31 players are a selection from a March tryout that was held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Another 5 players will be added at the conclusion of the Women's U20 Pan American Cup later this month. The 36 athletes will train June 22-26 and then will be divided into three teams of 12 and will then compete the 27-30.

Schoenlein was named 2016 All-Pac-12 honorable mention as well as Pac-12 All-Academic First Team and is one of only two players to be selected to both teams. She stands ranked 31st in WSU history in solo blocks as well as block assists and is tied for 30th with 191 total blocks. She is also one of three volleyball players in WSU history to be named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team in back-to-back seasons.

Fellow Cougars McKenna Woodford and Taylor Mims were selected to other Collegiate National Teams earlier this year.

In 2016, Schoenline and Woodford as well as Head Coach Jen Greeny were on the CNT-Europe team that won the Global Challenge Tournament.
