WSU lands its 2018 quarterback, Cammon Cooper

Student Sports Photos

Washington State added a quarterback to it’s 2018 recruiting class, receiving a commitment from Utah quarterback Cammon Cooper.

Cooper is ranked as a 4-star prospect by Scout while 24/7 Sports lists him as a 3-star consensus prospect. Cooper put up some prolific numbers during his junior season in Utah, throwing for more than 4,000 yards.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Cooper is also a left-handed quarterback, an interesting twist compared to every other WSU quarterback recruit under Mike Leach. Cooper held offers from more than a dozen schools, including Arizona State, Georgia, Louisville, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Cooper is the sixth member of the 2018 recruiting class.
