Bovada sets WSU 2017 win total at 7.5

You’re getting a little more value for your money taking the under but 7.5 sounds about right for the Cougs.

NCAA Basketball: Las Vegas Views Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

We’re 90 days from the start of the WSU football season but we already know what Las Vegas thinks of the Cougs in 2017. Bovada released their college football win totals today and pegged Washington State at 7.5, with even money for the under and -130 if you decide to take the over.

This is about where I expected the Cougs to land with home games against USC, Colorado and Stanford, and away games with Oregon and Washington on the schedule. You’re getting more value for your money taking the under so Bovada’s expectation is that the Cougs will get to 8 by the end of the bowl season.

WSU’s total is fourth best in the Pac-12 North, behind Washington (10, take the over), Stanford (8.5, take the over), and Oregon (8, take the under).

The number I’m most surprised by in the Pac-12? Utah at 6.5. Given the general weakness of their division and non-conference games that should be easy wins, BYU excepted, Utah should be able to surpass that total pretty easily.

Give yourself $100. Where are you putting it?
