Great finishes in WSU history

What is your favorite?

If you were watching the PGA Tour on Sunday, you witnessed one of the better sports finishes of the year. Jordan Spieth and Daniel Berger went head-to-head in a playoff of the Travelers Championship.

Then Spieth did this:

Holing out from the bunker in a playoff is a pretty decent ending. It also got me thinking about great sports endings, specifically WSU endings.

So today, with links on the very light side, let’s talk about your favorite ending to a WSU sporting event.

The first one that came to mind for me is senior night in 2009 when Taylor Rochestie buried a DEEP three-pointer to beat No. 14 Arizona State. The way it unfolded. The shot. The aftermath. This video doesn’t do it justice, but it was a great sequence.
