Mike Leach, ever the vivacious personality at the conference’s annual media days when reporters who won’t get to talk to him all year ask him outlandish things to get outlandish answers, settles a long debated question: is a hot dog a sandwich?
We’ve answered the question on the CougCenter Hour before but, apparently, that’s not good enough for whatever Twitter user Ashley Adamson got this question from. So let coach settle it ... even if he doesn’t like the things.

Hot dog = not a sandwich. The right answer America has been looking for since this inane debate began because if people are willing to put ketchup on something between two pieces of bread, IT’S. NOT. A. SANDWICH.
(No, I don’t care if the answer came from a person who professes to not enjoy the food stuff he’s making a declaration on, he agrees with me and that’s what’s important here.)
