Happy 2018 everyone.
The year came to a close on Sunday and with it so did the NFL regular season. While Week 17 is in the books, the Cougs aren’t quite done for the season just yet. Destiny Vaeao and the Philadelphia Eagles move on to the postseason.
Here is how the rest of the Cougs wrapped up the year.
Deone Bucannon - Arizona Cardinals - Linebacker/Safety
Bucannon recorded six tackles against the Seahawks, tied for the most on the team.
Xavier Cooper - New York Jets - Defensive Line
Cooper recorded a pair of tackles and a sack of Tom Brady onSunday. It was his fist sack since joining the Jets.
Joe Dahl - Detroit Lions - Offensive Line
Dahl started the final game of the year at left guard.
Shalom Luani - Oakland Raiders - Safety
Luani recorded five tackles and defended one pass. The five tackles were the second-most he recorded in a game this season.
Destiny Vaeao - Philadelphia Eagles - Defensive End
Vaeao recorded one tackle and will get a bye week before moving on in the playoffs.
Vince Mayle - Baltimore Ravens - Tight End
Mayle recorded one special teams tackle and was flagged for holding on another punt. It appeared he was headed for the playoffs, before the Ravens’ defense collapsed and Baltimore was eliminated with a loss to the Bengals.
Kache Palacio - Seattle Seahawks - Linebacker
Palacio ended the season on the Seahawks practice squad.
