It is finally NFL Draft Combine week. Luke Falk, Hercules Mata’afa, Cole Madison and Tavares Martin will be in Indianapolis this week trying to raise their draft profile. But, before they go through all of the interviews and drills, let’s check in on where their draft stock is now.
Quality mock drafts that expand beyond a couple of rounds still aren’t the easiest things to find, but fortunately Mike Luchene of NFL Rough Draft recent published a seven-round mock draft which includes Falk, Madison and Mata’afa.
Mata’afa is the first off the board, going in the fourth round at pick No. 124 to the Kansas City Chiefs. In our last mock draft update, Mata’afa went in third and fourth rounds, so this appears to be his projected range.
In this mock, Falk comes off a round later, going in the fifth round to the Baltimore Ravens. Falk’s status will be very interesting to watch following the Combine.
Madison comes off the board just four picks after Falk, and earns quite the praise.
“The Bills find a future starter at right guard.”
No other Cougs, including Martin, were picked in this mock draft.
