After previously offering Ryan Hilinski, the younger brother of the late Cougar quarterback Tyler Hilinski, Mike Leach found six (!) other signal-callers he likes for next year’s recruiting class and sent out offers to them on Tuesday. Here is a look at the prospects that the Cougars are targeting.

Jacob Conover:

Size: 6-foot 185

Hometown: Chandler AZ

Stats: 3027 yards and 32 touchdowns

Conover is considered the 11th best pro-style quarterback in the country and the sixth best player in the state of Arizona…… The three star recruit also boasts offers from ASU, Alabama, Arizona, Oregon State and Ole Miss among others.

Gunner Cruz:

Size: 6-foot-4 205

Hometown: Queen Creek AZ

Stats: 3175 yards and 40 touchdowns

The pro-style quarterback is a three star quarterback who has an offer from in-state ASU……. The “highly intelligent” moniker is thrown around a lot with quarterback prospects, but this really does apply to Cruz as he boasts an offer from Harvard as well…… The 29th ranked pro-style passer and 16th best player in Arizona…… 247sports.com reports that defensive line coach Jeff Phelps is leading his recruitment and that Syracuse is showing a lot of interest as well.

Jacob Clark:

Size: 6-foot-5 210

Hometown: Rockwall TX

Stats: 2937 yards and 29 touchdowns

Clark is another pro-style quarterback who is a three star recruit…..He holds offers from TCU and Memphis as well…..He is the composite ranked 21st quarterback and one of the top 100 players in the state of Texas…..Scout.com reported last fall that Oklahoma State and Vanderbilt are showing strong interest as well…Clark moved from Kansas to Texas at the start of his junior season.

Hank Bachmeier:

Size: 6-foot-3 185

Hometown: Murrieta CA

Stats: 3255 yards and 42 touchdowns passing….1670 career rushing yards

Bachmeier is a 4 star composite prospect who ranks 8th overall among pro-style passers. He has been offered by Tennesee, Cal, UCLA, Minnesota,Colorado and Georgia….He is considered the 33rd best prospect in the state of California..Bachmeier is a dual threat who is one of the hottest prospects coming out of SoCal…Before the Cougar offer he told 247 that his favorites were Cal, Boise State, Oregon State and Minnesota.

Maverick McIvor:

Size: 6-foot-3 195

Hometown: San Angelo TX

Stats: 3369 yards and 43 touchdowns….888 yards and 8 rushing touchdowns

Worth it for the Top Gun memes alone…..McIvor is the 19th ranked composite dual threat quarterback in the country…..He also has an offer from Boise State….All-West Texas Super Team MVP as a junior…Would be a lot of fun to watch in the Air Raid…Son of legendary Texas quarterback Rick McIvor who played two years in the NFL.

David Baldwin:

Size: 6-foot-4 214

Hometown: Bradenton FL

Stats: 2510 yards and 32 touchdowns

The left-hander plays at prestigious IMG academy after moving from Upland CA...Has offers from Georgia, LSU, Florida and Ole Miss....Told Greg Biggins his dream schools are Oregon and Florida State..3 star recruit who is the No. 8 dual threat composite quarterback according to 247
