The 2018 NFL Scouting Combine doesn’t officially wrap up until Monday, but the four Cougs participating have done the bulk of their work.
Luke Falk didn’t run, but threw well. Hercules Mata’afa ran faster than Tavares Martin, and Cole Madison did a little bit of everything. Let’s take a closer look at how they all fared.
Cole Madison

- Bench press: 26 reps
- Vertical jump: 28.5 inches
- Broad jump: 97 inches
- Three cone drill: 7.86 seconds
- 20-yard shuttle: 4.88 seconds

- Broad jump: 108 inches

Tavares Martin
- 40-yard dash: 4.8 seconds
- Bench press: Did not participate
- Vertical jump: 31.5 inches
- Broad jump: Did not participate
- Three cone drill: Did not participate
- 20-yard shuttle: Did not participate
- NFL.com grade: 5.14 (Better than average chance to make an NFL roster)
Those four Cougs and the rest of the draft-eligible Cougars will now turn their attentions to pro day where they will get another chance to perform in front of scouts.
