With the offensive side of the team now rounded out — pending the tight end vote below — we are now shifting to the defensive side of the ball.

When it came to offensive line, we picked an entire unit. For defensive line, we’re going to split it up starting with defensive end this week. Because we’re building an actual team, we’ll need two defensive ends. But, that doesn’t mean you have to pick two from the same season. So in this instance you could pick say 2003 D.D. Acholonu and 2006 Mkristo Bruce. Just remember, we’re talking about individual seasons, not careers.

In addition to nominating your top two defensive end seasons, you can also cast your vote below to select the tight end to make the team. Last week we voted on wide receivers and 2015 Gabe Marks and 2005 Jason Hill made the team.

Here is a look at where things stand and a tight end poll

WSU Time Machine Team

QB - 1997 Ryan Leaf

RB - 2005 Jerome Harrison

OL - 1997 Offensive Line

WR - 2005 Jason Hill, 2015 Gabe Marks
