Good morning, college football fans. We’ve waited long enough! The 2018 college football season has arrived! It’s week zero, the official start of our favorite game

Last year, PJ explored the pros and cons of WSU playing during week zero. While we must wait another week for WSU to hit the field, we can catch the Cougs’ week 1 opponent tonight on ESPN2, as the Wyoming Cowboys travel to New Mexico State to open the season. If you want to feed your football needs, what better way than to get an advanced viewing of the team WSU plays next week?

Here’s today’s full schedule, via ESPN:

Those games aren’t exactly must-watch, but that’s OK. Let’s ease into the football season. I’m ready for college football to begin, but I also want to spend one last weekend at the lake (despite the weather).

So tune in to get an early scouting report on Wyoming, and come back here next week when the only scouting report you’ll need is posted.

NFL Cougs

There was a slate of preseason NFL games last night. Here is how some former Cougs fared:

River Cracraft (Denver Broncos): Caught one pass for zero yards.

Frankie Luvu (New York Jets): Sacked the QB:

Xavier Cooper (New York Jets): Three tackles, two of them solo.

Shalom Luani (Oakland Raiders): Don’t know. Went to sleep. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Luke Falk and the Tennessee Titans play tonight at Pittsburgh.
