Washington State welcomes the USC Trojans to Pullman

NCAA Basketball: UCLA at Washington State James Snook-USA TODAY Sports

Your Washington State Cougars are back on the hardwood this afternoon for a meeting with the USC Trojans. The Cougs are on a four-game losing streak and haven’t given up less than 78 points in any of those losses. In its Pac-12 losses, WSU is giving up more than 85 points per game. Not great!

USC comes in a 12-9 overall and 5-3 in Pac-12 play. The Trojans are very much in the race for second in the conference—UW pretty much has no. 1 locked down.

The Cougs? Well, you know. It’s been a trying season for Ernie Kent’s squad. The defense has been poor and when WSU has a great night offensively—like the Oregon game—it doesn’t matter.

They’re also doing some nice giveaways for those of you in Pullman today:

You can catch the game on the Pac-12 Network. Tip-off is 4 p.m.
