Andre Dillard climbs in NFL mock drafts

NCAA Football: Oregon at Washington State James Snook-USA TODAY Sports

If the NFL mock drafts are accurate, Andre Dillard is about to be a very rich man. Not only is Dillard likely to be an early pick, but some recent mock drafts have him moving near the front half of the first round.

NFL Rough Draft — which has consistently ranked among the most accurate mock drafts — currently has Dillard coming off the board at No. 17. When we checked in last month, Dillard was coming off the board in the early second round, so this is a solid jump up. With a few more weeks — and WSU’s pro day — still to come, Dillard has time to climb even higher.

In addition to Dillard, NFL Rough Draft also projects Gardner Minshew to get drafted. The current projection for Minshew is pick No. 173 in the fifth round.

Those are the only two Cougs included in this mock draft, but James Williams is also listed among the top undrafted running backs.
