Andre Dillard maintains his 1st round projection

NCAA Football: Washington State at Arizona State Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The 2019 NFL Draft is quickly approaching on the horizon and if things keep tracking the way they currently are, Andre Dillard is going to be a first-round pick.

Following the NFL Draft Combine, Dillard is a mainstay in the first round of some of the top mock drafts.

Matt Miller of Bleacher Report has Dillard going at No. 16. NBC Sports projects Dillard at No. 18. SB Nation projects Dillard to come off the board at No. 17. And NFL Rough Draft has him currently going at No. 22.

Mock drafts are just mock drafts, but the current consensus is Dillard won’t have to wait long to hear his name called.

NFL Rough Draft’s latest seven-round mock draft also includes Gardner Minshew. They project Minshew with the No. 130 pick, late in the fourth round. If that was the case, Minshew would be off to play for the Los Angeles Chargers. A very interesting landing spot with Philip Rivers winding down his career.

We will know for sure in a little more than five weeks.
