It was a rough season for the Cougar women, but a pair of stars stood out.

On Sunday, the Cougar women wrapped up their first regular season under head coach Kamie Ethridge with an 80-58 loss to Cal. It was a disappointing 9-20 campaign for the Cougs, but there were plenty of bright spots this season. Notably, Borislava Hristova and Chanelle Molina.

The duo was honored by the Pac-12 on Tuesday when they named to the All-Pac-12 team by the conference coaches.

Redshirt junior Hristova picked up a full conference honor. It’s her second straight All-Conference honor, and her third overall when you include her honorable mention honor during her freshman season. ‘Bobbi Buckets’ ended the regular season third in the conference in scoring at 20.2 points per game, while also shooting 48.1% from the floor. Heading into the Pac-12 Tournament this week, she’s close to making history in the WSU program. The junior needs just 13 points to reach the 600 point mark on the season, which would make her just the sixth player in WSU history to reach that milestone in a season.

Junior Chanelle Molina was named All-Pac-12 honorable mention this season, her second career all-conference award. Molina finished the season averaging 15.6 points per game, good for 12th in the Pac-12. Molina also finished fifth in the conference with 5.2 assists per game. Her 150 assists this season ranks as the fourth most in a single season in program history.

Of course, there is still at least one more game to be played for everyone on this list. The Pac-12 Tournament tips off from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon. The Cougs will get things going as a 10 seed Thursday at 6 PM with a rematch against 7th seeded Cal. The winner will take on 2nd seeded Stanford Friday night at 6 PM. Most games can be seen on the Pac-12 Network, with the title game tipping off Sunday at 5 PM on either ESPN or ESPN2.
