Just days after snagging their first commit of the 2020 class, the Washington State Cougars have another, this one from a Lake Stevens offensive lineman.

Kylany is rated a 3-star prospect by 247Sports and reportedly measures 6’4”, 275 pounds, fitting that Mike Leach offensive lineman prototype almost to a T. Kylany picked Washington State over offers from the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Air Force Falcons.

The first thing that really jumps out for me is how quick Kylany’s feet are off the snap. He gets moving to where he is supposed to be going in a flash. Once he gets there, the senior offensive tackle seem like he loves putting defenders into the ground, as evidenced by his first few highlights. His ability to get out on the screen game is especially encouraging for the Air Raid offense, given he’ll be asked to get out fast to block for those quick hitters we saw a bit more of last year after they all but disappeared in 2017.

It would not surprise me to see a few more commits roll in over the next few weeks before the duldrums of summer begin to set in but with Kylany and King, WSU’s 2020 class is off to a nice start.
