The Pac-12 announced kickoff times for some early season games this morning, as well as the Apple Cup, in which your Washington State Cougars and the Washington Huskies will begin at 1 p.m. PT on Black Friday, Nov. 29, at Husky Stadium in Seattle. The game will be broadcast on either Fox or FS1.
WSU’s season opener on Aug. 31 against the New Mexico State Aggies is set for 7 p.m. on the Pac-12 Network. A week later, WSU will welcome Northern Colorado for a 2 p.m. game on Pac-12 Washington and Pac-12 Now. That week 2 game is a throwback to when 2 p.m. kickoff times and obscure networks were the norm. Good luck to those who have to search for Pac-12 Washington!
WSU’s week three game against the Houston Cougars has already been set for 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. ESPN will televise that one. Other non-conference Pac-12 games and their kickoff times can be found here.
If you’re placing your bets on WSU this season, the Pac-12 Championship Game remains on a Friday. This year, the game is on Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. but will now be televised on ABC.
All other WSU games are subject to the six- or 12-day broadcast selection window.
Mark your calendars and get your affairs in order. Cougar football will be here before we know it.
