Betting on college football during the season can be a bit of a crapshoot. Betting on college football in June, months before the season even starts, is highly questionable.
However, if you are so inclined, some 2019 season odds are now available. FanDuel released some odds and the Cougars check in tied for the fourth-best odds in the Pac-12 (Via CBS Sports).
T-1: Washington - +260
T-1: Oregon - +260
3: Utah - +500
T4: Washington State - +1000
T4: USC - +1000
T4: Arizona - +1000
7: Arizona State - +2300
T8: California - +3000
T8: Stanford - +3000
T8: UCLA -+3000
11: Colorado - +12000
12: Oregon State - +21000
There appears to be a lot of emphasis put into who has a returning quarterback — even if said quarterback failed to make a bowl game last season. The Cougars at 10-1 seems generous, considering the Apple Cup is still a thing on the schedule.
It also appears some of the lust for David Shaw has worn off. Stanford entered last season with the third best odds. The USC overrating, however, continues.
The Cougars at 10/1 is a nice upgrade from last season, when WSU opened the season with 80/1 odds.
