If you were planning on watching former Washington State Cougars basketball player Robert Franks suit up for his first NBA Summer League game, you’ll have to wait a little longer. Franks did not play in Charlotte’s 93-85 win over the Golden State Warriors Friday night.
Summer League rosters are a little bigger compared to a team’s regular season roster, and Franks was one of six players to not see action. As someone who knows next to nothing about how the Summer League works, here’s hoping Franks is in the rotation soon.
Franks, as you know, blossomed into a go-to player during his four years in Pullman. He signed a two-way deal with the Hornets after going undrafted last month.
