The 2019 season is upon us and, as always, The CougCenter Hour is here with a bonus episode to go over the expectations of the campaign.

The Washington State Cougars have made a habit out of not losing at home these past few years (to teams not named the Washington Huskies), which is good! The biggest issue for 2019 though: that’s not where the toughest games on the schedule reside. Heck, it’s not even close to where the toughest games are.

No, instead WSU will play three teams ranked in the preseason top 25 (Washington, the Oregon Ducks and Utah Utes) on the road along with trips to two other spots that are long running bug-a-boos for the Cougs (the Arizona State Sun Devils and California Golden Bears). Add in one home game in a six-week period and it’s a recipe for keeping expectations down.
