The Cougs went into the game last Thursday outscoring opponents 16-3 before stumbling against the Bulldogs. It didn’t take them long to put the game away in overtime as Averie Collins decided she had enough just nine seconds into the overtime period. Her goal would go on to to be ranked as the top moment of the week on the conferences ‘12 best” of the week.

The Cougs join three other Pac-12 schools in the top-10 as Stanford comes in ranked second and USC and UCLA sit at 4 and 5 respectively. Colorado sits a few behind the Cougars at 17th.

With just over a week between their last game and their next, the Washington State soccer team will prepare for the Cougar Classic that begins on Friday when they host Michigan at 7:00pm on Pac-12 Networks. Things will continue on Sunday as they host Loyola Marymount at 1:00pm, that game can be found on WSUCougars.com through a live stream.
