Welcome to Cougar Football Saturday Friday, whose existence throws off the routine of the CougCenter writers in much the same way it throws off the routine of the Washington State Cougars.

OK, fine, that’s overstating it — playing a game on Friday just means that I get the honor of writing the gameday links post. It also means that Kevin is robbed of the ability to post his three bold predictions for this one.

So, I’m going to take the mantle. The burden is heavy, but I’ll try and do it justice.

  1. Anthony Gordon will set the program record for touchdown passes in a game with eight.
  2. WSU will have three fourth down stops of the Houston Cougars.
  3. Deon McIntosh will lead WSU in rushing yards.

Before we get to everyone else’s gameday stories, here’s a list of our various preview items, in case you missed any of them this week:

In a less bold prediction, I predict that I’m going to have a very difficult time focusing on my job today. Even though these Friday games have become relatively commonplace, it’s still weird. On to the links!
