A week and a day til Cougar football!

Who else is getting excited?

Good morning, Coug fans! I don’t know about Wazzu students, but I just wrapped up midterm week. There’s a lot to celebrate- we have Halloween tomorrow, it’s also my roommate Janet’s birthday, but what we’re all looking forward to about tomorrow, a sentence you’ve all been waiting for:

One week until Cougar football.

Typing that brought such a smile to my face! The Cougs are no doubt gearing up to face the Beavers a week from tomorrow, and neither team has named a starting quarterback. However, speculation for the Beavs QB leans towards redshirt junior Tristan Gebbia.

Here’s what we know: Gebbia started in one game last year against Oregon, and played four games total. His pass completion is 63%, and he racked up 392 total yards in the four games he played.

While Rolo has kept the identity of our starting QB a secret, it’s clear we’re in a similar boat to Oregon State- the fresh quarterback getting a chance.

This season contains enough questions on top of some predictable Pac 12 nonsense, so strap in! It’s going to be one interesting ride.
