It was another fairly quiet week for the Cougs in the NFL, with only Gardner Minshew posting a significant stat line. That could change next week with a couple of Cougs, Jalen Thompson and Joe Dahl, eligible to come off of injured reserve and get back in action.

There was one notable change this week as Daniel Ekuale joined the ranks of Cougs on 53-man rosters. Ekuale was promoted from the practice squad by the Jaguars, but was not active for gameday.

Here is a look at how all of the Cougs fared in the NFL this week:

Gardner Minshew - Minshew played well in the Jaguars loss, completing 27-of-40 passes for 351 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He did throw one interception and was sacked three times. The Jaguars have now dropped three straight games.

Daniel Ekuale - Ekuale was promoted from the practice squad this week, but was not active for the game.

Hercules Mata’afa - Mata’afa played a reserve role for the Vikings but did not record a stat.

Dezmon Patmon - Patmon was again not on the active roster this week.

Frankie Luvu - Luvu played three defensive snaps and 20 snaps on special teams. He did not record a tackle, but was flagged for holding.

Jalen Thompson - After missing his third straight game, Thompson is now eligible to return from Injured Reserve whenever he is healthy enough to do so.

Joe Dahl - Like Thompson, Dahl is also eligible to return from Injured Reserve next this week.

Andre Dillard - Dillard remains out for the 2020 season due to injury.
