In a normal year, we would be roughly 100 hours from kickoff of the Apple Cup. As we know all too well, 2020 is not a normal year. Instead, barring schedule changes, we are now 365 days and roughly 100 hours from the kickoff of the next Apple Cup.
That is a lot of time to pass, but I’m here to help get you through a few hours of it. We won’t watch the 2020 Apple Cup this week, but that doesn’t mean you can’t watch an Apple Cup this week. Thanks to the work of a number of YouTube users — special shout out to Uncle Bill’s VCR — we can re-watch several classic games.
Like the 1982 Apple Cup:
Or the 1985 Apple Cup:
Or the 1988 Apple Cup:
Or the 1997 Apple Cup:
Or the final drive of the 2007 Apple Cup:
Or the fourth quarter of the 2012 Apple Cup:
Or just some general Apple Cup highlights:
See you in 369 days for Apple Cup 2021 (or later this season, maybe?).
