Football season just ended, but it’s never too early to look ahead to next season... Or at least next season’s Homecoming game.
On Tuesday, Washington State announced the dates for their Homecoming and Dad’s Weekend games in Pullman, and they’re taking place on back-to-back weekends in October. The ceremonies start with the Homecoming game on October 3 against Cal. Then, the next weekend, the Cougs will host Utah on October 10 for Dad’s Weekend.
It might seem odd to have the two biggest annual promotional weekends on consecutive games, but WSU’s scheduled didn’t really give to program any choice. The games are traditionally held somewhere in the middle of the season, but the Cougs only host three games between weeks four and 11 of the college football schedule, with the third coming on Halloween night against Arizona State. It was probably a smart move to avoid adding a swarm of dads to the Halloween festivities on campus, especially on a gameday.
The dates have been set, but the school has yet to announce the major concert that traditionally takes place on Dad’s Weekend. However, the Beasley Coliseum Twitter account may have given a pretty big hint last week.
Looking ahead for entertainment at WSU Dad's Weekend 2020-- two options for a comedian. What do you think?

Michigan State is set to hire Colorado's Mel Tucker as its next football coach, sources told ESPN.
Yikes...
Still trying to confirm this report that Mel Tucker has agreed to become the coach at Michigan State, but it's from a reliable source. Insane that he was on the radio 3 times TODAY affirming his commitment to Colorado and I heard he was a donor event in Denver tonight. #cubuffs

There weren’t too many cracks in Washington State’s defense during Sunday’s rivalry win over Washington. Kyle Smith hopes he can say the same thing about the Cougars on Thursday night after playing UCLA at Pauley Pavilion.
