The devastating news of the death of Washington State Cougars safety Bryce Beekman came down a week ago, which has given us a little space to reflect. That’s where we start the show this week, before moving on to much lesser matters.
Show rundown:
- Bryce Beekman: The WSU safety’s life was cut short, too soon.
- Nick Rolovich’s “Cougar Madness” bracket (23:00ish): The 1997 Apple Cup won the coach’s greatest game bracket. As it should have.
- Extra eligibility for spring sports (49:00ish): Covid-19 has canceled spring sports, but the NCAA is allowing a little bit of flexibility. However, it might not be as great of a solution as it sounds.
Fair warning, we do use naughty words from time. You’ll probably hate it. We don’t care.
