Kyle Smith landed WSU’s first 4 star recruit in a long time with center Dishon Jackson earlier this month and now has landed one of WSU’s best overall classes in years. 247 updated their recruiting rankings this week which brought all of WSU’s recruits up to 3 stars or higher. This now gives the Cougars the 57th best class in the country.

Jackson remains a composite 4 star with the six-foot-ten center ranking as the 17th best player in California and the 23rd best center in the nation. He is also a top 150 player in the country checking in at 138. The rest of the class are ranked as 3 stars.

Denver combo guard TJ Bamba who signed in the early period now checks in as the 3rd best player in Colorado and the 43rd best combo guard in the country.

Big man Efe Abogidi is now the 3rd best player out of Australia. Lots of raw potential to Smith to unlock there.

Lastly Point Guard Jefferson Koulibaby out of Montreal ranks as the 12th best player out of Canada and nationally as the 396th player.

Smith’s class is now ranked 7th best in the Pac-12 and given how he has able to maximize his talent, fans should be very excited with this haul.
