The Washington State Cougars added their first defensive back to the 2021 class when Adrian Shepherd, from McKinney, Texas, announced his commitment via Twitter on Friday. He is the ninth commit in the class.

Shepherd does not yet have a composite rating, but 247Sports gave him an evaluation rating of 84, which would make him a mid-level 3-star recruit. He only holds one other FBS offer, from Louisiana, although it appears Colorado has been sniffing around.
His junior year highlight video reveals a player who is an instinctive downhill tackler:
Nick Rolovich now has 16 scholarships left to offer in his first full class. You can check out the entire class here.

Whicker: UCLA Bruins and the other players know that the virus is calling the shots – Daily News
Players threatened to “refrain from booster events, recruiting events and all football-related promotional activities” unless UCLA has an independent party on the field to see that Covid-19 sanctions are being executed. They also asked for whistle-blower protection, and the ability to withdraw from the program without losing scholarships.
One thing I find interesting is that when this all started, the early speculation was that the Pac-12 would be screwed over this fall because its programs were located in states that were most restrictive in their response to the virus.
After seeing how things are turning out in the states that have been most the permissive in their return from the virus, I’m kinda starting to think there’s a pretty good chance this ends up working out to the Pac-12’s advantage. We haven’t heard any reports of any outbreaks on Pac-12 campuses.
Yet, anyway.
Marvin Cannon lands at Charlotte
Good for him.
Confirmed Washington State transfer G Marvin Cannon signing with @CharlotteMBB. He'll sit on this season and have one more to play. Averaged 3.9 points for Cougars last season.
