We know Nick Rolovich has been busy on the recruiting front, securing 10 verbal commitments for the 2021 recruiting class, but he’s hardly the only Pac-12 coach quickly putting together their recruiting class.
Rolovich and the Cougars currently have the No. 7 class in the Pac-12 and the No. 69 overall class, according to 25/7 Sports. So how are the other teams in the Pac-12 doing? Pretty well if you are Oregon or USC.
The Ducks currently have the top class in the Pac-12 and the No. 5 overall class. USC is not far behind at No. 7 nationally. The Ducks have 16 verbal commitments, headlined by 5-star wide receiver Troy Franklin. USC has 17 recruits, but no 5-star prospects.
The Trojans are recruiting well this season, after a very down year last year. USC finished with the No. 10 class in the Pac-12 and No. 55 overall last season.
The Ducks and Trojans are the only Pac-12 schools ranked in the top 25. Washington is next at No. 28, UCLA (No. 46), California (No. 49), and Arizona (No. 59).
Five Pac-12 teams have less than 10 verbal commitments. Stanford only has four commitments and ranks last in the Pac-12 and No. 94 in the country. It is very early, but that is quite a decline from the Cardinal’s No. 21 class last season.
