Podcast Vs. Everyone: Losing to Washington sucks

So do football transfers and suspensions.

PULLMAN, WA - FEBRUARY 15: Washington State guard Noah Williams (24) drives down the baseline during the second half of a Pac 12 matchup between the Washington Huskies and the Washington State Cougars on February 15, 2021, at Beasley Coliseum in Pullman, WA. Jack Ellis/CougCenter

A week that started with so much promise when the men’s basketball team beat UCLA ended with a thud for the Washington State Cougars after they lost to the Washington Huskies in a rare Monday night game.

What went right against UCLA? What went wrong against Washington? Let’s break it down.

Also, we examine the impact of losing Jamire Calvin and try to make sense out of Ayden Hector’s suspension before moving on to women’s basketball’s tournament projections. We then touch on the exploits of volleyball and soccer, which had the best weeks of anyone. Someday, we’ll give them the proper amount of attention. We promise.

Oh! And there was a listener question! Our answer to that is what made this episode end up so very, very long. There’s a special prize for you if you make it all the way to the end.*

You’ll probably hate it. We don’t care. We also use naughty words from time to time. You’ve been warned.

(But if you do like it, please leave us a five-star review — it helps other people find the podcast.)
