On Monday, Athlon Sports released their All-Pac-12 teams and seven Cougars found their names on the list. Max Borghi, Abe Lucas, Renard Bell, Travell Harris, Jahad Woods, Jaylen Watson, and Brennan Jackson all were announced to be members of a team. There was a total of four teams released and the Cougars finished towards the bottom half of the list with eight total selections.
Oregon had the most selections with 14 while Washington and USC had 13 each. UCLA and Arizona State each had 12 while Utah (11) and Colorado (10) also had double digit selections. The Cougars and Oregon State each had 8 selections with California (7), Stanford (6), and Arizona (4) finish out the rest of the conference.
Running back Max Borghi and offensive lineman Abe Lucas were both named to the first team while wide receivers Renard Bell, Travell Harris, linebacker Jahad Woods, and cornerback Jaylen Watson were each selected to the third team. Defensive lineman Brennan Jackson was the lone member on the fourth team for the Cougars.
While Borghi played in just one game last season, he comes into the 2021 season as one of the top backs in not only the conference but in the Country. He rushed for 817 yards on 127 carries and 11 touchdowns in 2019 while adding on an additional 597 yards on 86 receptions and had 5 touchdowns. He finished last season with 95 yards on 10 carries and one touchdown. He had one reception for 7 yards against Utah last year. One of the main reasons for his success is having a guy like Abe Lucas on the offensive line. He was named All-Pac-12 second team after his sophomore year in 2019 and again in 2020. Pro Football focus rated him the 4th best offensive tackle in the conference by Pro Football Focus.
Wide receivers Bell and Harris combined for 62 receptions and 677 yards while hauling in 2 touchdowns last season and the year before that combined for 1,115 yards on 101 receptions and had 11 touchdowns.
Jahad woods tallied 31 total tackles last season, 1 sack, and 1 interception. In 2019 he finished fourth in the country and second in the Pac-12 with 141 tackles. He added in an additional 3 sacks and an interception. Cornerback Jaylen Watson played in just three games last season for the Cougs and finished with 13 tackles, 2 passes broken up, as well as a forced fumble and recovery.
Brennan Jackson played his first full season last year and finished with 19 tackles and 1.5 sacks during his four games. The redshirt junior appeared in just two games in 2019 but his season was cut short after injuring his leg in the second game of the season.

Washington State edge rusher Lolani Langi enters transfer portal
Langi, a former three-star recruit who was once committed to Boise State as a linebacker before serving an LDS mission, has entered the transfer portal less then a month after completing spring camp in Pullman, Rivals.com reported Monday.
#WSU WR Jay Wilkerson is reportedly in the transfer portal.

Cougars should have 14 scholarship WRs this fall and a few talented walk-ons vying for spots. Only four WRs play at a time, so would've been hard for Wilkerson to crack the depth chart. https://t.co/pCLaFiYdOt
