GAME THREAD: Washington State at Oregon State

Your 16-6 Cougs take on the 11-11 OSU Beavs in Corvallis. Game starts Thursday at 7 pm and can be viewed on the prestigious Pac-12 Network. Reigning four time P-12 Freshman of the Week Myles Rice had 12 points and 4 assists in the teams' first meeting, a 65-58 WSU victory in Pullman. Oscar Cluff led the team with 20 points that night, and Andrej Jakimovski drained 4 of 8 three pointers on the way to a 15 point outing. Notably, leading scorer Isaac Jones was battling an illness and managed only 1 point, his worst game of the year. It seems likely IJ will exceed that total this time around.

Beaver big man KC Ibekwe had an uncharacteristically impactful game, scoring 12 and grabbing 8 rebounds, while adding 3 blocks. Jordan Pope did Jordan Pope things, pouring in 20 points on 16 attempts, while the rest of the team was mostly held in check. OSU has found a great deal of success at home, with their only Gill Coliseum loss coming in overtime against Stanford.

WSU needs to keep winning to keep their tournament hopes strong. Join us in chat to offer your comments before, during, and after the game.
