Good morning Coug fans, and thank goodness the UW marching band is safe after one of its busses rolled on I-90 last night. That’s terrifying, especially considering what happened up in Canada earlier this year.
The Apple Cup is here. You can come out from under your blanket you’ve been hyperventilating with all week. Just me? OK.
Your Washington State Cougars are 10-1 and welcome the Washington Huskies to Pullman for a HUGE Apple Cup with great implications. Win, and the Cougs head to the Pac-12 Championship Game to face the Utah Utes with a Rose Bowl berth on the line.
Yeah, it’s a big game.
The Cougs still have a shot at the College Football Playoff, but they need some help along the way. Let’s get to it.
Three Bold Predictions
- Jake Browning will throw an interception on his first possession.
- Gardner Minshew II will complete all of his pass attempts in the fourth quarter.
- Washington State will win.
I’m all in on the Cougs today. Call me crazy, but I have this weird feeling that we’re going to see something special tonight, and not just the uniforms. This has been a season of destiny, and it just keeps going.
Go Cougs.
