Washington State University's volleyball team beat Nevada's volleyball team in four sets to capture the Cougar Invitational Championship, and finish the nonconference season at 13-0. The Wolfpack ended the Cougs sweep streak at seven matches. This match also saw the Cougs play a tremendous amount of freshmen in the third set, and the team's offense strugle without Camryn Irwin in the lineup.

After the match was over, Ver'Leea Hardaway was named tournament MVP; also Marcelina Glab and Jaciee Harris were announced as members of the all tournament team. Washington State takes on #3 Washington on Wednesday at Bohler Gym (7:30PM)
