The Washington State volleyball team was very impressive in its first three matches of the season as the Cougars beat Alabama, Seton Hall, and Army to start the season off with a record of 3-0. As a team, the Cougs had more blocks (34 to 13), and more kills (155 to 139). For the Cougs, the biggest factor in their victories was getting more kills than their opponents, and preventing the other teams from scoring during the other teams serves.
This weekend, the Volleyball team returns home to Bohler Gym as they host the Cougar Challenge Tournament. There are a total of five teams that are participating in this tournament: Eastern Washington (2-2), Texas Tech (4-1), Montana (1-2), South Dakota (2-2), and Washington State (3-0).
