News, notes and recaps following WSU's 78-41 loss to Kansas on Monday.

Writing this morning post lately has felt like what I imagine it feels like to be the guy who tells NFL players they are being cut during training camp. No matter how nice you say it, you're always delivering bad news.

Today's bad news, would of course, be the news, notes and recaps of the 78-41 trouncing the men's basketball team took Monday night. Official stats can be found here, with some postgame notes here. Of the notes, Brock Motum became the 33rd player in WSU history to score 1,000 career points. So there is that.
