WSU vs. Gonzaga: WSU reaction

This was an interesting loss because while the Cougars performed better than most expected, they still couldn't quite do enough to come away with the win. With that said, there are surely some positives to take from the loss, most notably the return of DaVonte Lacy.

WSU desperately needs a No. 2 option behind Brock Motum and Lacy looks to be that guy. While they may not combine for 45 points every game, that 1-2 punch could be huge as WSU gets into conference play. In addition to some of the usual reaction, Ken Bone had some interesting things to say after the game. His comments on Junior Longrus, which start around the 7:50 mark of the video below, are especially of note.

WSU vs. Gonzaga: Gonzaga reaction

With Gonzaga being in the same media market as WSU, it was easy to round up a few links from their side of the game. Having reaction from both sides in one place is in no way a favor to the two people wearing half Coug/half Zag shirts. You both are dead to me.
