Basketball played by WSU teams was not pretty last week, making for an ugly Monday.

Things did not go well for the WSU basketball teams against the Oregon schools this weekend. How bad was it? This bad:

The men's team is now 1-7 in Pac-12 play and appears destined for a second straight losing season. The women's team started conference play 5-0, but has now lost three in a row. Basketball is not fun right now. Unfortunately for WSU fans, it's been a while since the Cougar men and women had solid seasons in the same year ...
