It’s Episode 10! We made it to double digits, you guys!
For the last few weeks, we’ve been focusing on previewing spring practice for the Washington State Cougars football team, but with the firing of Ernie Kent and the NCAA tournament about to get underway, basketball has moved to front of mind.
In fact, we were having such a good time talking about candidates to replace Kent and candidates to pull upsets that we didn’t even really have time for any political talk. Pretty much just straight sports this week!
Pro tip: If you’re not a huge fan of beer talk, we ran a little long on that, so you can feel free to just skip the first 20 minutes or so.
Show rundown:
- Beer: Jeff grabbed another crowler from Skookum, while Craig brought back a beer from Portland. We also discuss the Portland beer scene.
- WSU: Ernie Kent is gone. Now someone has to replace him. We have a few pet candidates for the job who people probably aren’t talking much about.
- NCAA tournament! Picking 12s to upset 5s is for wimps. We’ll tell you which 13 and 14 seeds are well positioned to destroy brackets.
- Parenting: Gettin’ friendly with the neighbors.
Also, fair warning: We use naughty words from time to time.
You’ll probably hate it. We don’t care.
