Hey! It looks like we have a new Washington State Cougars basketball coach! As fate would have it, we were going to be recording our latest episode anyway, so thanks Pat Chun for making a move on Kyle Smith so that the news leaked before we spent 20 or 30 minutes talking about the guy Cougfan mentioned earlier in the day.
And we have a special guest! Kyle Sherwood of the Cougar Football Saturdaycast joins us to celebrate this new era of WSU basketball. Show rundown:
- Beer: Jeff landed a DIPA from Hoof Hearted Brewing, while Craig pays tribute to a Seattle beer icon before moving on to the nerdiest beer he could find — as befitting the new coach. Kyle went for some brown liquor, as he is wont to do.
- WSU: We have a new coach! (We think, anyway.) Long discussion about Kyle Smith — what we like about the hire, and what potential trouble spots there could be for our new guy.
