The Washington State Cougars will try to split their Bay Area road trip when they face the Stanford Cardinals on Saturday night (3 pm, Pac-12 Network). The Cougs suffered a disappointing loss in Berkeley on Thursday, playing uncharacteristically bad defense against a subpar Cal squad.

The game is already going. Stanford has a really good defense, so WSU will probably struggle to score. The Cardinal do turn the ball over often. Wazzu will need to force plenty and get out in the open court to prevent Stanford from getting its defense set.
Oscar da Silva and Tyrell Terry are Stanford’s best offensive players, and they have all 10 points for the Cardinal as they start off the game on a 10-2 run. Feel free to use this to discuss the game. Go Cougs!
