Podcast Vs. Everyone: Men’s hoops postmortem with John Andrzejek

The WSU assistant coach joins us to look back at the season — and also to look ahead.

The Washington State Cougars ended their season last week with a loss in the Pac-12 tournament to Arizona State, which means, sadly, that it’s time to take a look back at the exciting — and sometimes frustrating — 2020-21 season.

Luckily, we have one of our favorite guests, WSU assistant coach John Andrzejek, here to guide us through the postmortem.

Topics covered include:

  • The challenges of managing a roster and rotation that constantly was missing guys;
  • What was behind all those close losses?
  • How the defense took a big step forward, including why the team used more zone than expected;
  • Thoughts on how the offense could make the same kind of leap next season;
  • Player breakdowns, both looking back and forward.

You’ll probably hate it. We don’t care. We also use naughty words from time to time. You’ve been warned.

(But if you do like it, please leave us a five-star review — it helps other people find the podcast.)

Also if you like it: You want to subscribe! It’s the fastest way to get our episodes; most of them hit the feed the night before and will be on the device of your choice before we post to the website.
