The Washington State Cougars seem to be working backward with their uniform color schemes this season, as they revealed a crimson helmet, crimson jersey and white pants scheme on Wednesday for this weekend’s game.

The last time the Cougars wore that combo was in last season’s epic destruction of the Arizona Wildcats. WSU ended up winning that game 69-28 after dropping 55 points on the Wildcats in the first half. That was nice.
Could another 69-point effort be in the cards this week? It’s certainly possible, as the Northern Colorado Bears are likely to be overmatched in much the same way as the New Mexico State Aggies.
